“His Majesty has passed away” . The proclamation was made in the dead of night. His inheritors are soon at his bed on their knees, mouning about the King’s death. The King has no nomination for the heir, only leaving the last words “Crown the new King by virtue”. That was the final challenge to his inheritors, to prove themselves the worthiest heir to lead the Five Realms. At dawn, the inheritors have made their way to induce the noble clans and establish diplomacy. Only one of them can sit on the much-desired throne.<\/span>

How to Play ?<\/h2>\n

To be crowned King of the 5 Kingdoms, you’ll have to show your greatness to the various clans sitting at Court. Gain influence, gain Honours, complete Quests and become the winner of Inheritors!<\/p>\n

You start the game with 10 cards in your hand, and it’s up to you to make the most of them. An open market with 3 rows of cards is always available in the center of the table.<\/p>\n

On your turn, perform one of the following actions:<\/p>\n

– Play an Influence Card. Showing the allegiance of the various clans to you, increasing as the game progresses.
\n– Discard a card from your hand in the open market, and draw 2 cards.
\n– Discard a card from your hand in the open market, and pick up a row of cards from the market, provided your card matches either the number or the color of the last card in the coveted row.
\n– Discard 3 cards of the same color in the open market, and draw 1 card and recover 1 Quest.
\n– Play an Agent card.<\/p>\n

In addition to these actions, at the beginning or end of your turn, you can:<\/p>\n

– Recover an Exploit, if you have fulfilled the condition.
\n– Recover a Clan, if you have 3 or more influences in its color. Its allegiance is irreversible, but you can only have one.<\/p>\n

As soon as the central deck is empty, or all Quests and Exploits have been recovered, the game is over! Take care not to get caught unprepared!<\/p>\n

Thanks to its ingenious Open Market system (Winchester Draft), Inheritors offers an intense experience in card hand management. Every turn is a little dilemma: it’s up to you to make the right choices and adopt the right strategy to take the throne.<\/p>\n
